You can also look on top of the trans "just behind" where the coil pack ends (towards the firewall), same sensor.Tiburon experts your experience will be most appreciated. I've replaced crankshaft position sensor, it seems like camshaft sensor removal/reinstall should be similar. You'd need 10mm thin wall socket or a philips screw driver. Hi, this is my 1st post. I own a 2003 Tiburon Tuscani GT model with 6 speed but I can never get into 6th gear anymore. I bought the car in March 2006. Back then I was able to get into 6th gear, now I can't it only goes to 5th. I've taken it to Hyundai before but they won't fix it because they said they wouldn't be able to put the car on a hoist.. Quick update. On the way to the office today the idle was fine compared to last night when it was high. I have the test results that I checked on my lunch today. So the car sat for about 5 hours.
