If you get a small stud for your first piercing, you don't notice it so much in your peripheral vision. I stopped soaking it after a couple of weeks, only letting shower water run over it. Never had any swelling, soreness, issues at all, healed completely in just under a year. Mine is 14g if that makes any difference in healing, just thought I'd chuck it in.The bridge area of your nose (the part near ur eyes) needs to have a lot of skin for the piercing to settle under so it doesnt reject as easily or hopefully at all.
