Sax on the web forum - In many ways, the Kessler reminded me of blowing into a Yamaha 62. The tone, however, is nothing like that of either Yamaha, or Selmer. The tonal color is dark, and very different than any other modern tenor I've ever played. Oddly, their is a "dark buttery" quality to the tone that reminds me of an old Buescher.
